St George’s is a one form entry mixed school for ages 3-11, situated in the heart of the capital, namely Westminster. It is adjacent to the Cathedral and has a long history of working in partnership with the clergy and aims to deliver outstanding Catholic education in all aspects of the school. Consequently, our mission statement of

'To Live and to Learn Together Through Our faith in Jesus Christ'

is a reality, empowering pupils with excellent results, a genuine love of learning and a belief in a generosity of spirit and freedom.

While the school gives priority to practising Catholics in our admission criteria we value love for our neighbour, hence we welcome those of different faiths and cultures. Indeed, we celebrate the cultural capital and God given talents that our community brings to learning and build on this to broaden all children’s understanding of the world.

The creative and inspiring curriculum at our school is underpinned by our high expectations and quality teaching and learning principles, while we supplement it with a rich and varied co-curricular programme which fosters well-being and new skills to enable every pupil to progress.

Our approach to pastoral care and how we prepare pupils for secondary education and their future has resulted in significantly improved outcomes for all pupils at every stage of their learning.
